Wheels of Faith Donates 390 Roller Duffel Bags to The Salvation Army

Wheels of Faith Foundation is proud to announce a transformative partnership with The Salvation Army, donating 390 high-quality roller duffel bags valued at $27,300 to support individuals experiencing homelessness across British Columbia.
The donation was distributed across multiple Salvation Army locations, including:

Vancouver Harbour Light

Belkin House
-
Grace Mansion
-
Richmond House Shelter
-
Victoria Addictions & Rehabilitation Centre

Kate Booth House, a confidential shelter for women and children escaping violence

​These duffel bags offer a practical, dignified solution for individuals in housing transition—providing a secure, mobile way to carry personal belongings.​
"This is the biggest, most blessed thing that could be happening with Wheels of Faith, with The Salvation Army,"
said Darla Knight, President and Founder of Wheels of Faith Foundation.
"Their reputation is amazing for helping people ... Couldn't have found a better partnership, for sure."


This collaboration began with a simple act of kindness in Langley and has grown into a shared mission to serve those most in need.
"These duffel bags will definitely assist with the move, going from one particular phase of their unhoused situation to the next,"
shared Alvin Chong, Director of Community Development at The Salvation Army Belkin Communities of Hope.
"It provides our community members with dignity and practical support during their transition journey."​
